What is 7v7:

7v7 football is a fast-paced, non-contact variation of traditional football designed to develop players’ skills in passing, route-running, defensive coverage, and teamwork. At the Pflugerville Football Academy, this format focuses on honing athletes’ agility, precision, and game IQ in a controlled, competitive environment.

The emphasis is on skill positions, such as quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, and defensive backs, allowing players to fine-tune their technique in real-game scenarios.

Our 7v7 program fosters athletic growth, builds confidence, and enhances communication among teammates. Whether players are preparing for the next level of competition or simply looking to improve, Pflugerville Football Academy’s 7v7 program provides a dynamic and fun way to elevate their football abilities.

Notable feedback:

University of Texas Director of High School Relations Jahmal Fenner (Former LBJ Head Coach): “Some believe 7v7 doesn’t prepare you for the fall season. I beg to differ based on what this league has done for the development of our student athletes, which assisted with our #2 high school ranking in the State of Texas in 2021”

Parent: “It’s simple. If your goal is to compete against the best within Central Texas, this is where you play 7v7”

Player: “This is truly where the best of the best play”

Player: “These are quality reps”

Coach Smith: “This league has allowed us to compete against some of the best talent from around Central Texas each spring”
