Where are games played?
All games will be played on PFISD turf stadium fields in Pflugerville, Texas. There will be a gate entry fee for all spectators.

Do the girls and boys 7v7 teams compete against one another?
No, boys and girls 7v7 teams will never compete against one another as they are broken out in separate divisions.
Who referees your 7v7 games?
Each game is officiated by two TASO (Texas Association of Sports Officials). Please note, several of our TASO officials also officiate college football games.
Are Qb tees provide by PFA?
Yes, QB tees are provided, but teams can elect to use a center instead.
How many games are played each Sunday for spring games and how many games are played each Friday for summer games?
Each team will play two 25 minute games each Sunday & Friday during pool play games week’s.
Can my team or organization purchase picture or video packages from your digital team?

Is there medical staff on site to assist with injuries?
Yes, Texas Sports Physical Therapists will be on site to attend to any injuries that may occur.
Is there a uniform requirement to play in this 7v7 league?
Yes, personal jerseys or basketball-type sleeveless shirts are permitted. We recommend having numbers on the back of jerseys. It’s recommended to have two jerseys, but it’s not mandated-i.e., white/dark jersey/t-shirt. Teams are responsible for providing their own soft shell helmets & uniforms for league play

What is the price to register a team for each of your upcoming 7v7 seasons?
Team registration for the Battle for Central Texas IV 6 week season is $2,200 of which breaks out to $146 per player for a team of 15. There is currently an early bird $333 discount being offered until January 15th and the cost breakout under the early bird discount is $125 per player for a team of 15.
Team registration for Friday Nights Under The Lights 4 week season is $1,400 of which breaks out to $93 per player for a team of 15. There is currently an early bird $210 discount being offered until March 23rd the cost breakout under the early bird discount is $80 per player for a team of 15.
What are the equipment requirements?
Team uniform, mouthpiece & soft shell helmets are mandatory.
What is the required ball size by division?
3rd-4th- Wilson K2 or TDJ Size ball
5th-6th- TDJ/TDY
7th-8th TDY/HS
9th-HS Standard HS Size *No White Ball allowed*
Are coaches allowed on the field during offensive possessions?
3rd-4th & girl 7v7 divisions are the only divisions where we’ll allow a coach (1) on the field during offensive possessions.

Are teams required to be from the same school or school district in order to form a team?
Our league allows open team rosters for grades 3rd-8th, but high school teams must be school affiliated.
Can individual/free agent players register?
No, but please email us at contact@pflugervillefootballacademy.com and we can connect you with a team who’s in need of additional players.
How long are the games?
All games are 25-minutes without halftime or time-outs. The only reason a game will be stopped is due to an injury. Note, all games on each field will stop until player(s) can be removed as soon as safety dictates.
What happens if a team arrives late to a game or does not have enough players to participate?
If a team arrives late, they will begin play with whatever time is left on the game clock. A forfeit will occur after 10 minutes if a team is not present. Please note, after two forfeits due to not arriving on time, or not having enough players to field a team will result in your team being removed from league play immediately.
How will you ensure teams are playing within the correct division?
Each Registered player must have a Gold Zorts Player Eligibility Card. (Card is good for 12 months).

The card is good for 1 full year and can be used for all tournaments/leagues on the Zorts Platform.

If a player is ever deemed ineligible via Zorts & playing on a team, the player and team will be removed from league play immediately
If I have questions the day of my teams games, who do I contact onsite?
Please visit our PFA booth, or look for the field marshal who’s covering your field.
When are scores updated?
All scores are updated within 24 hours of completion of all games.
Will there be a meeting prior to the season starting?
Yes, we’ll host a coach & referee meeting ahead of the season. This meeting is highly recommended to ensure your team is prepared for the upcoming season-i.e., Detailed rule review
Can my team/organization have our own media team on the field of play?
Yes, but the individual(s) would require approval and would be required to sign a waiver. Please email, contact@pflugervillefootballacademy.com for media approval.
What happens if there is a weather delay or cancelation?
If there is a weather delay, PFA will send out an email & text alerts to all coaches as soon as possible so they are able to cascade the information onto their teams.
If a game-day is canceled due to weather during the first two weeks of the season, games will be rescheduled for the following week, each team playing 4 games. If a game-day is canceled due to weather after the first three weeks of the season, games will not be made up as a way to stay on schedule. This does not apply to the end of the season tournament.
